Deepika Padukone was attending the Oscars 2023 as one of the presenters. The 95th annual Academy Awards saw who’s who of celebrities walk the red carpet in their glamorous ensembles. And Deepika Padukone was well prepared to mark her third appearance at The Academy Awards.
Deepika Padukone introduced the performance of “Naatu Naatu” by singers Rahul Sipligunj and Kaala Bhairava, who crooned the Telugu track along with background dancers. In her introduction to the song, she highlighted its anti-colonialist themes while also noting that it is a “total banger.”
Deepika Padukone was dressed to impress in a bespoke Louis Vuitton (of which she is the global brand ambassador) off-the-shoulder black gown that she styled with diamond jewelry. It was teamed with the trendy black opera gloves which gave the ensemble a sleek finish. She opted for a yellow diamond Cartier necklace along with a diamond bracelet and a ring over her gloves. She tied her hair in a voluminous hairdo with her signature messy look. Her ensemble, however, wasn’t the only thing that caught fans’ attention. The actor also sported a brand new tattoo which said, “82’E” – the name of her newly-launched skincare brand.
Following the Oscars 2023, which took place at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles, Hollywood’s biggest night continued its festivities at the Wallis Annenberg Center where the Vanity Fair after-party happened. Deepika Padukone was seen donning a fringe wine-colored dress from designer Naeem Khan’s couture and she paired them with classic diamond earrings.
