On Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose’s 125th birth anniversary, January 23, Prime Minister Narendra Modi revealed a grand hologram statue of the iconic freedom fighter at India Gate, New Delhi. Till the statue, constructed of granite, is completed, a hologram statue of Netaji would be present at the same place.

India hosted Anita Bose Pfaff, daughter of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose, for dinner in Germany on the eve of the late freedom fighter’s 125th birth anniversary. Taking to Twitter, the Embassy of India in Germany informed that Dr. Anita Bose Pfaff has also signed off the guest book ‘JaiHind’.

The granite statue is set to be installed under a canopy, which used to have a statue of King George V that was removed in 1968. The hologram statue is powered by a 30,000 lumens 4K projector and an invisible, high gain, 90 percent transparent holographic screen has been erected in such a way so that it is not visible to visitors, the PMO statement said. The 3D image of Subhas Chandra Bose is projected on it to create the enchanting impact of a hologram.
